2016/17 Season Staff
We have now filled all positions for this season.
Role: Lodge Assistant
Hours: Between 4-6hours/day up to 30 hours/week.
Although management will plan and schedule your tasks, you will be required to
complete ad hock tasks anytime; this is simply the nature of running a Ski lodge and
all staff need to remain flexible.
When the work is on, you’re expected to work hard, but also during the quieter
times you’re free to play hard. Some days will require more work and other days
much less, yet all average out over the week in allocated tasks and ad hock tasks.
You will have the time to get out on the mountain most days as long as all work is completed
satisfactorily. Since you clip in at the front door you can make the most of your time on the hill.
Duration: Early December – Early March
All staff are welcome to arrive early and stay with us here at Hakuba House and enjoy
the early season snow. We just ask for help with a few small things around the house
during this early period.
Days Off: 1 rostered day off per week (may vary from week to week depending on schedule)
Duties and Tasks:
– Guest Services
– Cleaning and Housekeeping
– Cooking/Food Preparation and serving
– Bar Tending
– Driving (International Drivers Licence Required)
– Snow Clearing
Remuneration and Benefits
– Season Pass – At the satisfactory completion of your time at Hakuba House, we will
refund the full cost of your Happo One season pass at the end of the season. Season
pass costs 57,000yen.
– Meals :
o Breakfast included every day (including days off)
o Dinner – Hakuba House will be providing staff dinners on approx 5 nights a week.
o Use of Kitchen for other meals.
– Accommodation – Staff rooms on lower ground floor, lightly furnished. All
bedding, linen, towels and toiletries provided.
– Bond – none.
